A quiet shift began at home. A mother, always radiant in spirit, began facing persistent skin challenges. A daughter whose curiosity turned into a calling. Little did she know it at the time, but Twenty Seven had already taken its first breath.

Medicine Meets Mission

I entered medical school with a singular purpose—to understand the skin, deeply and scientifically. Over the next five years, I immersed myself in dermatological study. But even beyond textbooks, I searched for answers. From formulating basic body butters to experimenting with healing lotions for my mother, my journey became personal. And wherever I travelled I asked questions, studied rituals, and uncovered beauty secrets rooted in culture and care.

After graduation, I joined one of India’s leading hospitals and research centres. Surrounded by brilliant scientists, pharmaceutical collaborators, and cutting-edge resources, I deepened my knowledge of skin science. Here, my personal mission began taking professional shape—every interaction, every trial, every insight brought me closer to something bigger.

Loss, and a Promise That Became Purpose

An unexpected accident took my mother away. But she left this world with calm, clear skin—a quiet testament to the care we had poured into her journey. In that moment of grief, a new resolve was born. I promised myself I would honour her story—not just with memories, but with impact. Twenty Seven was no longer a dream. It became my life’s work.

Building Without Compromise

For nearly a decade, I travelled, studied, and refined. I worked on formulations with an uncompromising lens—backed by science, inspired by Ayurveda, and elevated with French elegance. Every ingredient was tested, every product tried by people I trusted. I poured time, energy, and savings into perfecting not just the product, but the soul of the brand. I reimagined sustainable packaging, researched deeply, and built with intention.

In November 2024, Twenty Seven softly launched—just a website, a purpose, and products that had been years in the making.
